Ocean Camp is located in Bar Al Hikman, Oman, a truly remote and peaceful coastal area known for its turquoise waters and pristine beaches. Away from crowds and tour groups, our seaside glamping tents offer uninterrupted ocean views, gentle sea breeze, and the chance to spot dolphin fins and turtle heads right from your tent.

All tents include 24 m² of indoor space
- Private sea-view terrace with seating
- Access to shared bathrooms with showers and European-style toilets
- Comfortable bedding, clean towels, fresh sheets, and covers
- Solar-powered lighting for a gentle, lantern-lit atmosphere at night
- Fine mosquito netting for peaceful, undisturbed sleep
- Flexible bed arrangements: we can reconfigure beds or add extra single beds on request (maximum capacity 4 guests per tent)

All You Need to Know Before Your Stay
Please note: Driving to the camp on your own is not easy for beginners, as the route crosses salt banks and sandy areas where it’s easy to get stuck. There are no signposts and no mobile network coverage along most parts of the way.
If you get stuck, it can be very difficult for us to locate and assist you. For your safety and convenience, we strongly recommend using our transfer service, unless you’re highly experienced in off-road driving and navigation.

Check-in & Check-out Times
- Meeting time for pickup: from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM onwards
- Check-out: by 10:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to availability.
Pickup / Drop-off
We offer convenient transfer services from our meeting point in Mahout to the camp:
- 4×4 transfers for off-road routes, either traveling in our car or following with your own car
- Transfer cost: 20 OMR one way

From our camp, it’s easy to explore Bar Al Hikman’s famous sandbanks, lagoons, and wildlife areas—either in your own car or with our guided services. Here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking sunrises over the sea and equally stunning sunsets across the inland horizon.
